theĀ 2017 ICC Champions TrophyĀ was the eighthĀ ICC Champions Trophy, aĀ cricketĀ tournament for the eight top-rankedĀ One Day InternationalĀ (OD I) teams in the world. It was held in England and Wales from 1 June to 18 June 2017.[1]Ā PakistanĀ won the competition for the first time with a 180-run victory overĀ IndiaĀ inĀ finalĀ atĀ The Oval.[2]Ā The margin of victory was the largest by any team in the final of an ICC ODI tournament.[3]
The top eight teams in theĀ ICC ODI ChampionshipĀ rankings as on 30 September 2015 qualified for the tournament, and were divided into two groups of four.Ā BangladeshĀ returned to the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time sinceĀ 2006, while theĀ West IndiesĀ failed to qualify for the first time.
Security around the tournament was increased following theĀ Ariana Grande concert attackĀ in Manchester, just before the start of the competition. TheĀ International Cricket CouncilĀ (ICC) announced that they would review security concerns.

What has Ravindra Jadeja done here! There’s a mix up between the two batsmen and Pandya is the one who has been dismissed. Pandya called for a single and hared across, only to watch Jadeja get just out of the crease and revert right away. Poor stuff, considering Pandya was whacking a few.
